LYTTON PARK  was a rural outpost with limited access to Toronto until The Metropolitan Street Railway began servicing the area in 1886 - with only a single horse car line.

It was the Railway that purchased the two hundred acre "Beatty" Farm near Yonge & Glengrove and became the "Glen Grove Park" subdivision development.  In 1912 Lytton Park, Toronto, Ontario, became part of The City of Toronto.  Over twelve years, Lytton Park's Residential Neighbourhood of Luxury Homes and Houses were built along with Schools, Churches and Parks.
